Using the nano Editor

On Praxis systems the editor nano is our preferred option. The configuration file in /etc/nanorc or in ~/.nanorc should be updated as follows.

These options provide for a friendly nano user environment with colour coding for popular languages.

set const
set morespace
set noconvert
set nofollow
set nowrap
set smarthome
set smooth
set tabsize 4
set tabstospaces
set undo
