This bandwidth calculator can be used to convert bits to Bytes, Kb to KB, Kb to MB, MB to GB and so forth. If you need to convert things like KBps or MBps just remove the 'ps' part. The calculator assumes that 1KB is 1024 Bytes, 1MB is 1024KB and so forth. Every effort has been made so this will understand most reasonable amounts, that really means that if you try for something over Gigabits or Gigabytes I don't know if it will work.

This covers most all of the bandwidth measurements we know of. Items not on this list may be deemed obscure, or obsolete by the author. The highlighted cells indicate the "common" bandwidth measurement meaning: the one that 95% of the population refers to.

thanks a lot for the very helpful tool. use it all the time to compare internet speeds. from my own to friends. im able to see my internet provider lies and gives me less then what i'm paying for. but what can i do. they advertise one thing and put in small print they guarantee only %10 of the advertised speed. well that's Telefonica PERU./Frank Latino USD on 09 Nov 2012
