Edoceo leverages Open Source technology to implement packaged and custom solutions. Like other software (read: Retail) it comes with no warranty whatsoever, but it does come with the source code. That means technically skilled individuals can get inside, and see how it works, so that if it breaks, they can fix it. Other software, the Retail closed source versions, generally break for some mysterious reason that are difficult to discover.
